East London-born rapper Momodou Jallow, better known by his stage name, J Hus continues the success of his Mercury Prize nomination for his debut album Common Sense, with this vibrant video for his latest single, Spirit.

Helmed by Hugo Jenkins through Black Dog Films, the video, which was shot in Jamestown, Accra in Ghana, juxtaposes the vibrant energy of the community with its picturesque backdrop, while the soul-searching track explores the time Hus spent in prison back in 2015, while aiming to inspire people to keep their heads up.
