In this Volvo ad from Forsman & Bodenfors, director Gustav Johansson centers on a young girl who reveals her hopes for her future as she prepares for her first day at school.

While her life flashes by, she thinks of everything she wants to achieve, until a passing car almost pulls out in front of her.

Thankfully, the new Volvo XC60 has an inbuilt safety system to help detect oncoming passengers, which applies the brakes automatically.

Volvo believes that advanced safety technology could help to reduce traffic accidents as most of them are caused by human factors.

“Safety is at the heart of everything we do at Volvo Cars. It always has been and it always will be. With this film we hope to remind people why we continue to focus on car safety, and how important it is for us all,” said the brand's Senior VP Global Consumer Experience Björn Annwall.
