Havas hires Amour

Mike Amour joins as chairman and CEO of APAC.

Havas Creative Group has welcomed Mike Amour to the New York office as chairman and CEO of Asia Pacific.

He joins the role from next Monday where he will be responsible for overseeing the agency’s growth into the region. Amour will report to the group’s global CEO Andrew Benett, who’s based in Singapore. Prior to the role, he was at Starcom Mediavest group as president, Asia Pacific. He was also previously CEO Asia Pacific at Project Worldwide and chairman/CEO at Grey Asia Pacific. Amour is known for his ability to drive transformation and has accumulated a wealth of experience, having worked at numerous agencies around the world including McCann, TBWA and Wieden + Kennedy.
