It's a shocking statistic that five men a day take their life in Australia. And globally, on average, we lose a man to suicide every minute of every day.
This Saturday (September 10th) marks World Suicide Prevention Day (WSPD). With that in mind, Movember Foundation is using the day to give male suicide the attention it needs.
Created by Cummins&Partners, this moving spot sees men read out their suicide notes, although it's filmed in such a way that the viewer initially assumes it belongs to a deceased loved one.
The spot - produced by Mr Smith and helmed by Craig MacLean - aims to tackle the subject with the simple yet necessary tagline, “Men, let’s talk when things get tough."
