Switching places with footballing icon Cristiano Ronaldo is the dream of kids and adults around the world, and the young man in this new film from Nike is about to have his dreams come true.
Created by Wieden+Kennedy, this piece from Nike Football is the longest brand film they have ever produced, overtaking 2014’s The Last Game. The shoot required Ronaldo to shoot for five days on location in Spain, with him performing his own stunts.
The film was helmed by Ringan Ledwidge through Rattling Stick - who also collaborated on the brand’s epic Winner Stays film, and features, in addition to Ronaldo, 16 professional players, including Raheem Sterling, Harry Kane, Andre Gomes, Anthony Martial, Sergi Roberto and Javier Mascherano.
