WCRS London has launched two films for the Royal Navy's new year recruitment caign led by personal stories of growth and discovery.

Ali’s story in the Submariners is all about the bonds that are forged between the elite men and women who protect the seas in the Sub Service. Having initially joined to work with the best equipment in the world, he quickly came to realise that there was much more to the job.

Gareth, on the other hand, decided to join the Navy as a way of giving his life a sense of purpose and soon found that it gave him opportunities and experiences he would never otherwise have had, including walking out at Twickenham in front of over 80,000 people.

Max Fisher of Generator Films directs the spots, which are running on VoD from today (4 January). "The two films continue to build on the stories of people being 'Made in The Royal Navy'. Together they demonstrate the life of opportunity you can have, the pride you feel with all the things you can accomplish with the Royal Navy, and the strong bonds you forge in the process," says Jules Chalkley, creative director at WCRS.
