We’ve all had a go at (attempted) synchronised swimming on a family holiday, and lets face it- it was probably a mess.

Directed by Good Egg's, Lisa Gunning, the promo for John Grant’s Down Here follows a young boy's dream to become a synchronised swimmer.

The emotional story touches on issues of acceptance as we watch the character admiring swimming costumes in magazines and ignoring disapproving looks as he heads to buy a one-piece of his own.

The mellow mood is overturned as he starts prancing around the pool only to find a fellow male swimmer. And they fall in love, of course.
