Organisers of the eighth annual UK Music Video Awards have announced that the event is set to return this year.
Taking place in a new venue – at London’s Roundhouse on the 5th November – the award show offers music-video makers the chance to gain recognition for their work in areas across the filmmaking board. Two new awards have been added this year for the Best Music Documentary and the Best Lyric Video, the latter introduced to recognise that the way music and videos are consumed is becoming increasingly important.
The awards are now open to entries in over 30 separate categories, including genre-led awards, as well as specific technical and craft awards, and awards for individual producers, directors and commissioners. For a full list of categories, to enter work or for further information on the event visit UK MVA.
