When it comes to advertising, UK soft drink brand Tango has always been somewhat of a rebel. Back in the 90s kids in playgrounds up and down the country could be heard impersonating the "You know when you've been Tango'd" catchphrase (below). Now, over two decades later the brand returns with this relaunch campaign.
Created by 101 the brand has released an eight-minute infomercial spoof which sees a representative of the orange fizzy drink on a shopping channel to plug the latest high-tech developments. Produced by Moxie Pictures and helmed by Matthew Holness, the spot recaptures the typical tongue-in-cheek irreverent humour of its predecessors.
As well as Infomercial, 101 also created two very different spots to support the campaign, #TangoMyLove (above) by the kitchen through jelly London and Rodney's Betrayal by Matthew Holness (below).
