powered byApple’s latest spot ‘History of Sound’ showcases clips of people from around the world enjoying the evolution of music.
Spanning from 1888 to 2015, the film sees musical platforms develop – from vinyls and CDs to early gen iPods and the latest iPod models.
As well as this short film, Apple also debuted the below video to accompany its new streaming service.
This feature will provide a global 24/7 radio station called Beats 1, to be partly hosted by Zane Lowe (who features in the video), as well as an on-demand music streaming system (not too dissimilar from Spotifiy) and a forum – or “ecosystem” says former Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor in the spot – for artists to connect and update their tracks.
