With one sip of Diet Coke, a long commute can feel like an urban adventure and a dreary Monday morning can feel like the start of a great weekend. That’s the message of a new campaign created by Droga5 New York for the drinks brand.
The first spot in its Get a Taste campaign launches in the USA tomorrow (Wednesday 24 September) on ABC. It shows a woman on a crowded overnight flight filled with sleeping passengers and crying babies. After taking a Diet Coke from the flight attendant, she closes her eyes and takes a refreshing sip. When she opens her eyes, the aeroplane has transformed into a speakeasy-style party.
A second spot, Carwash, will also air soon as well as a third ad featuring singer Taylor Swift.
