Infinity Blade III: Origins

Glasgow-based Axis Animation hits us hard with another impressive promo short telling the story of Blade Infinity. Directed by Ben Hibon, the piece was created in collaboration with ChAIR Entertainment for the blockbuster video game series, with the latest installment launching worldwide today (18 September).

Hibon developed an illustrated take on the game’s art direction that he realised using both 2D and 3D animation. The Axis director proposed that he re-imagine the game's main characters in his own unique design style, an idea that was welcomed with open arms by ChAIR.
