The worlds of kung fu flicks and music have been combined ever since Carl Douglas found the whole thing "a little bit frightening" in 1974, and now it's time for Beats to get in on the action.
Created by agency MIRIMAR, The Master of Speed & Stability sees YouTuber IShowSpeed take a gloriously kitsch journey to a world of 70s-style martial arts excess, in which the training is brutal, the colour is saturated, and the old men are surprisingly spry.
Directed by Daniel Wolfe of Love Song, and featuring some slick moves from former Jackie Chan Stunt Team member Paco Yick, this endearingly playful pastiche draws a tight comedic performance from its influencer star, whilst allowing Wolfe to play around with the genre's unique qualities.
