HLA director Jamie Whitby has perfectly captured the deep, trippy vibe of the artist’s latest track How Can I Love You, by visualising Yellow Days – aka 19-year-old indie soul prodigy George Van Den Broek – climbing down into the deep, trippy levels of his own lovelorn mind.
Whitby says: “The video is a dive into Yellow Days' subconscious, based on a conversation we started together in the pub and ended four feet down a hole in Hampshire. If there's one thing I’ve learned from making it, it’s that getting a camera to move smoothly six feet straight up or straight down on a limited budget is up there with working with animals or discovering the Higgs Boson particle.”
