Zalando goes inside the boot room

Zalando unveils a new film by Niyadre, taking viewers inside The Boot Room, a futuristic laboratory where footwear is engineered, examined and pushed to the limits of innovation.

Set within a world of experimental machinery, scientific analysis and controlled environments, the film transforms the process of making shoes into a striking visual experience. Suspended in illuminated chambers and surrounded by specialist equipment, each shoe becomes an object of investigation, with its form, construction and details placed under the microscope.

Blending cinematic world-building with a sleek, futuristic aesthetic, The Boot Room offers a fresh perspective on footwear, exploring the intersection of design, technology and performance through Niyadre’s distinctive creative lens.

Niyadre said “Loved working on this one! I wanted to create a series of sets that uniquely showcased the boots in a minimal but surreal way. Taking inspiration from alien sci fi movies and car commercials, I wanted to put a fresh spin on the classic lab concept.

I'm so glad we fully built the sets, right down to the kicking robot! Everything was then elevated with CG elements to really push the visuals and bring the ideas to life.”
