CZAR welcomes Martin Holzman
CZAR Belgium welcomes the director for representation in Belgium.
Production company CZAR Brussels welcomes Argentine director Martin Holzman for representation in the Belgian market.
Following a meeting at Ciclope, it became clear that his comedic and playful style would make a great addition to CZAR's roster.
Holzman’s love of film began at an early age, during summers when his parents would take him to the local Blockbuster. Not so much to rent movies, but mainly to escape the heat for a while. After all, it was the only place nearby with air conditioning. What started as a welcome cool-down soon developed into an almost obsessive passion for cinema.
That early fascination evolved into a successful career as a director. His work has received recognition at prestigious award shows and festivals, including Cannes Lions, The Clios and the Art Directors Club (AD&D).
His work ranges from emotionally charged stories with a playful undertone to offbeat comedic films. With a strong sense of storytelling, a refined visual approach and an eye for the unexpected, he brings stories to life in original and surprising ways.
“Even before I started directing, I used to check CZAR’s Vimeo channel every week to see if there was a new Lionel Goldstein commercial,” Holzman admits. “Now that I think about it, I knew what CZAR was before I even knew what an antacid was. That probably gives you a pretty good idea of how excited I am to be here.”
With his international experience, award-winning work and distinctive approach to storytelling, Holzman brings a unique creative signature to the Belgian market.
CZAR Belgium looks forward to further showcasing his work and representing his creative vision locally.
