In the run up to the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, financial service provider Allianz France and Ogilvy have launched this touching campaign, directed by Stuart McIntyre through Wanda, starring a team of eight sports professionals and their coach.
Drawing parallels between the support provided by Allianz to its clients, and coaches to athletes, the spot captures the inspirational, emotional, and intimate moments in an average day shared by an Olympian and their mentor.
The film, titled Everyone needs somebody to lean on, reflects not only the hard work and preparation needed for success, but also the importance of interpersonal relationships.
Five athletes from Team Allianz, medal hopefuls at Paris 2024, are featured in this film: Clarisse Agbegnenou (judo), Carlota Dudek (breakdance), Juliette Lacome (surfing), Loïc Pietri (judo) and Typhaine Soldé (para-athletics).
