If there's one thing Hornbach is known for in the industry, it's well-crafted filmmaking. And if there's one thing Ian Pons Jewell is known for, it's well-crafted filmmaking. So it's hardly surprising that this first meeting of the minds is... well... well-crafted filmmaking.
As with all great Hornbach spots, Just A Board starts with a fairly simple conceit: what can be done with a plank of wood. However, through HeimatTBWA\'s witty writing and the ANORAK x ProdCo director's playful shooting style, a single thought becomes a critical mulling on versatility and potential.
Backed by an off-beat VO and brilliant score from Klankwerk, and with the sprinkling of surrealism you'd hope from a Pons Jewell joint, this tale of wood is a real tree-t.
