Now we can't claim to be experts at animation here at shots, but we do know one thing: real-life fire and stop-motion do not make natural bedfellows.

What they do make, however, are some incredible visuals, as demonstrated by NOMINT's mesmerising new film for the WWF. Entitled Flammable Planet, the film sees a terrified rabbit escape the flames of a burning world, as they roar around him.

Using an innovative combination of a highly flammable set and props, and real fire, to create a shocking sense of visual jeopardy, Yannis Konstantinidis and Christos Lefakis' film was shot entirely in-camera and used traditional stop-motion techniques together with slow-motion, timelapse, and long-exposure to create some memorable visuals.

Check out our exclusive Craft Q&A with Konstantinidis, discussing the creation of this film alongside its icy predecessor, when we publish it this Wednesday.
