We may be in a golden age of television right now, but I think we can all agree that the 80s was the decade where theme tunes, specifically cartoon theme tunes, absolutely peaked.
Sure, Chip 'n Dale was catchy, Inspector Gadget had its kooky charm and Ducktales was a bonafide BANGER, but king of them all was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - its oft-repeated title and character introductions coming together to make a befitting bop.
For the announcement of new, retro-tinged videogame Shredders Revenge, WIZZ director Gary Levesque has recreated the titles of the show to stunning effect, bringing to life our favourite rollicking reptiles in dynamic resolution and vibrant energy.
Backed by a recording of the theme voiced by Faith No More's Mike Patton - another reason fans of a certain age were thrown into a frenzy - this barnstorming blur of slick animation and genre-baiting easter eggs is a fitting tribute to the world's most fearsome fighting team.
