Whitehouse Post London promotes Ella Sedgwick to EP
An accomplished and trusted production leader, Sedgwick joined Whitehouse Post in 2022, bringing over a decade of experience across the UK post-production industry.
Whitehouse Post is doubling down on homegrown leadership with the promotion of Ella Sedgwick to Executive Producer of its London office, a move that reflects the company’s continued focus on creative ambition, collaboration, and culture.
An accomplished and trusted production leader, Sedgwick joined Whitehouse Post in 2022, bringing over a decade of experience across the UK post-production industry. Prior to Whitehouse, she spent eight years at Work Editorial, progressing through the production team to become Head of Production between 2012 and 2020, before moving to Trim as Senior Producer from 2020 to 2022.
“Joining Whitehouse in 2022, was a career milestone” says Sedgwick. “As one of the most awarded edit houses in London, and with editors I’ve admired and followed for years, Whitehouse felt like the perfect place where I could continue to push creatively and make a lasting impact. To be EP here is a real defining moment for me.”
Since joining Whitehouse Post London, Sedgwick has produced an impressive slate of high-profile, creatively driven work for brands including Nike, Volvo, McDonald’s, Sky, British Heart Foundation, Adidas and Samsung. Most recently, she led Apple’s Shot on iPhone campaign, capturing women’s rugby entirely on iPhone to help launch the iPhone 17 ahead of the Women’s Rugby World Cup, a project that blends technical craft with cultural relevance.
Among Sedgwick’s career highlights is Me, My Autism & I, directed by Tom Hooper, a landmark film that went on to collect top-tier international accolades including Cannes Lions, D&AD and British Arrows awards. The project has since become a benchmark for emotionally led storytelling and craft, and a defining moment in her producing career.
As Executive Producer, Sedgwick will oversee production across the London office, with a focus on strengthening client partnerships, championing editorial talent, and continuing to evolve Whitehouse Post’s London roster. "I’m thrilled to be able to continue shaping Whitehouse’s future” Sedgwick adds. “I’m committed to supporting fantastic editors in their work, developing and nurturing talent from within, and creating an environment where everyone feels valued, listened to, and proud of the work we put into the world.”
Partner and editor Russell Icke welcomes Sedgwick’s promotion: “Ella brings clarity, confidence, and genuine care to every project she touches. Clients trust her implicitly, editors thrive under her leadership, and she has an instinctive understanding of what it takes to make great work. We’re incredibly excited to see her step into this role and shape the future of the London office.”
