The investment world was built very much by men for men and, in the 1960s, if you were a women who wanted in, your only avenue might be as a secretary.
But there was one woman who refused to conform; Geraldine Weiss. Setting up her own financial newsletter, she had to hide her identity behind the letter G, signing off as G Weiss. But as she developed a loyal following for her investment advice she also challenged an entire industry to reconsider the role women play in the sector.
This film, which blends live-action, stop-motion and animation to create a playful nod to the era in which she lived, was created by Mosaic and directed by Spy Films' Nathan Boey, and shows the world how G. Weiss was a pioneer in the industry and helped create change for countless women who followed.
