A young girl's quest for water on Mars forms the heart of this sumptuous and stirring spot for WaterAid from Don't Panic.
Telling the tale of Fara, a child from Madagascar who dreams of being an astronaut, The Girl Who Built a Rocketdemonstrates the delicate brush and assured narrative eye of Nexus Studios rising star Neeraja Raj, a burgeoning talent who managed to land this prestigious project within her first year of graduating.
Adding gravitas to the proceedings is a specially composed soundtrack of David Bowie’s iconic Life on Mars - shockingly turning 50-years-old this year – and a voiceover by award-winning journalist, newsreader and all-round legend Sir Trevor McDonald.
