Voyager and Leap Year deliver Father’s Day campaign for Elijah Craig

Elijah Craig, renowned as “The Father of Bourbon,” unveils a heartfelt tribute to dads just in time for Father’s Day.

Directed by Voyager’s Marcus Tortorici and Edited by Austen Deery of Leap Year Post, the nostalgic campaign celebrates fatherhood and the many roles it encompasses, from hero to coach and beyond. Recounting their cherished memories, viewers are taken on an emotional journey, witnessing a father and son bond over a glass of Elijah Craig Bourbon.

As the father reads a heartfelt written letter, his son’s voiceover reminisces on their timeless moments together. The son reflects on the various titles he’s called his dad throughout the years, ending with the simple but touching message, “there were years I called you less, but whenever I called you… you always answered. Happy Fathers Day.”

“This project offered a great opportunity for me to convey something real and personal into this story,” shares Tortorici. “While I share a strong bond with my dad, I spent many years living far away from him. I wanted to capture that little touch of sadness that comes from living away from family, as well as the joy of showing up at the door unannounced. This was a great collaboration across the board and I’m thrilled with the final result.”
