Director Dante Richardson and English singer songwriter Venbee have teamed up to craft this entertaining music video for her track, Not My Day.
Shot on film, the promo follows the artist around a drab English town on a sunny day, with cinematic vignettes set against cafes, bus stops and supermarket car parks perfectly complementing her wryly pessimistic lyrics, and painting a raw yet comedic picture of British life.
The promo is quietly witty and inventive, with a surprisingly low budget production and simplistic styling allowing Venbee’s deadpan performance to shine through.
