It's not hard to make a montage of top-level sportspeople feel pretty rousing, but this new film from Boomshot for the US Open takes it to a whole new level.
Commissioned by USTA and ESPN as part of a multi-layered collaboration with Alicia Keys’ Broadway musical Hell’s Kitchen, the film features a custom remix of song Kaleidoscope which sees a handful of bucket drummers bang out a love for the city, interspersed with tennis stars.
However, the real star of the show is the thoughtful and powerfully delivered VO from Kecia Lewis, herself a star of the Broadway production, whose voice takes an already motivating piece and elevates it to truly uplifting.
