Award winning Director Dennie Gordon joins Über Content for US commercial representation. With her brilliant blend of comedy dialogue and episodic storytelling, Gordon is a welcome addition to the company’s multi-talented roster.

Born in Minneapolis and raised in the same neighborhood as the Coen Bros, Gordon first came to international attention when when her script for A Hard Rain was chosen by Showtime’s Discovery Program and went on to win dramatic awards at the British Short Film Festival and the Hampton's Film Festival. She followed up her success with three feature films: the cult hit Joe Dirt, starring David Spade and Christopher Walken, the Olsen’s New York Minute, and What A Girl Wants starring Oscar winner Colin Firth and Amanda Bynes.

Gordon has since made a name for herself in Television via a number of high profile series such as the greatly anticipated Netflix comedy Grace and Frankie starring Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin, Sundance’s Rectify, CBS’s Madam Secretary, SyFy’s 12 Monkeys, USA’s Suits, the original Starz drama Power, DIRECTV’s Kingdom starring Joe Jonas, as well AMC’s Hell On Wheels.

In addition to her impressive narrative work, Gordon has directed countless episodes of satirical heavyweights 30 Rock and The Office, as well as HBO’s Tracy Takes On, for which she won the prestigious DGA Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Musical/Variety. All of these accomplishments make Dennie an inspiration to women everywhere hoping to pursue careers in storytelling roles.

Gordon notes she is most excited to team up with Über Content for spot representation due to the company’s notoriety and exceptional standing in the industry, “I love the Über brand and their reputation in the business is stellar. With all of her diverse experience, Gordon brings a unique blend of comedy dialogue and episodic storytelling to her commercial work. She has directed multiple spots for AARP, Capital One, and Toyota with the likes of Adam Devine, LL Cool J, Jimmy Fallon, Jessica Simpson, and Don Cheadle. In an  interview in SHOOT Magazine, Dennie explains “Working under tight budgets and demanding time tables is something I’ve honed over the years in television...which has helped considerably in taking on commercials.”
