Tyllie Barbosa joins Fresh Films
The director/photographer is the 20th woman to join the house's diverse roster.
Production company, Fresh Film has signed food and tabletop specialist director/photographer Tyllie Barbosa for global representation. She becomes the 20th woman on their global roster, adding to this diverse directing collective.
The Brazilian-born director brings her heritage to her films, with an excitement for cooking, entertaining and celebrating in every frame. Barbosa’s work explodes with her love for food, film and life. Bringing her extensive still’s background to her film work, Barbosa maximises the use of every frame: filling her films with the natural essence of food, combined with intricately choreographed highly visceral moments and an innate understanding of how to encapsulate a brand’s personality in one image.
Always innovating, her passion for experimenting and testing new techniques in her Chicago studio have become part of her signature style. By working with her highly skilled team and crew of experts she tests out new approaches and problem solves between jobs, bringing these unique tools and new ideas to each shoot.
Her creative and collaborative approach to working with clients has seen her work for brands including Kellogg’s, Kerrygold, McDonald’s, Google, Oscar Mayer, Quaker, Ziploc, Ulta Cosmetics, and Hyatt Hotels.
