Let's face it, kids might be cute and all, and their brains may be firing on all cylinders learning and interpreting the world, but as storytellers, they're pretty bonkers...
Picking out a tweet from user Danaan McAleer, in which he posted a 'John Lewis Christmas Advert' he wrote when he was seven years old, Twitter and agency DAVID took up the challenge of producing the mini-masterpiece for this year's festive offering.
The result is an ill-fated story of two snowflakes and they have the adventure of a lifetime, all beautifully realised in childlike wonder by Passion Paris director Roxane Campoy.
Whilst we're not sure that McAleer's spec would bother the bigwigs at JL, we're certain that, for his seven-year-old self at least, this is #ThePerfectChristmasAd.
