Joy and taxes; not usually bedfellows, but this new spot for TurboTax is a step in the right direction.
Created by Wieden+Kennedy Portland and directed by Arts & Sciences director Fiona McGee, the 45-second film features a man dancing in front of a fountain.
You might wonder why; well, partly, it's because he's listening to 80s banger The Safety Dance, by Men Without Hats, and who wouldn't let themselves go to that? But, also, it's because TurboTax says you don't need to do your taxes anymore, because they'll do them for you.
It's a simple idea, set to a classic track and it works.
