Trainline, the European train and bus ticketing app, has released a new summer campaign, the first that is exclusively for the Spanish market.
Created by DUDE London and directed by Marco Santi, in-house at the agency, the 35-second spot tells the story of money-saving Michael, highlighting how using the Trainline app saves money to spend on more important items on vacation, like mosquito repellent.
"We had a lot of fun writing and shooting this film," said Harry Marino, creative at DUDE. "When the brand message is so simple, we did not want to complicate it too much. We all know someone like Michael, who gets you into sticky situations when it comes to saving money. We wanted to bring this idea to life in an exaggerated and fun way, using mosquitoes as antagonists to create a fun and up-close story. We're very happy with the result."
