Along with artisan breadmakers, terrarium artists and 'doga' instructors, content creators are ubiquitous in the hipster job economy. But ask one to explain what it is they actually do - and more importantly, what content is - and we reckon they'd struggle.
Thankfully, the folks at Brooklyn-based creative studio And/Or have released a docu-short that attempts to answer these questions, and as well as being informative, it's pretty funny, too.
“Content as a term is so overused that it has become almost meaningless. It can exist in every shape and form, it sometimes gets released into a void, and it is often made under circumstances where fast and cheap trump quality and utility,” explains writer and creative director Kendra Eash. “This was kind of our way of working out an existential angst about what it means to make something these days."
