It's a tough job, selling mouse murder in a fun and friendly way, but, with a quirky style and enjoyably tactile puppetry, Not to Scale director Anthony Farquhar-Smith's new film for Tomcat might just do it.
Taking us into Tomcat's Bistro, a lovely-looking restaurant with a limited (and lethal) menu, Vayner Media's ad uses a jaunty jingle to somehow make the rampage feel charming.
With an enjoyable combination of stop-motion and physical puppetry, plus some excellent art direction on both mice and their surroundings, this entertaining oddity will certainly stick in your mind the next time you have an infestation.
