Montreal-based Thomas Soto has joined Canadian production company Les Enfants.

Soto began his career as a Director of Photography at the age of seventeen. He soon transitioned into directing, where he developed a distinctive style, shifting between sensitive, intimate camera work with real-life subjects and precise direction of actors, delivering both comedy and drama in line with Quebecois storytelling traditions.

Trilingual and of Peruvian origin, Soto is known for his ability to connect with people and his attentive listening, allowing him to adapt his approaches. His combination of sensitivity and technical expertise makes him a sought-after storyteller, recognised for his understanding of the advertising medium and his sharp sense of narrative.
