Short film This is English has recently been launched online after a successful run on the festival circuit.
Written by Snap London Associate Creative Director Liam Wilson, directed by That Jam and produced by VCCP Blue and Studio Yes, This is English is a stylistic nod to Shane Meadows' This is England but with more grammatical leanings, and follows a group of violent grammar pedants attempting to put a stop to bad English.
The film was released onto the festival circuit last year and after finishing its run has just been made available to a wider audience. It was officially selected at the Bafta-qualifying Aesthetica festival, and won Best Comedy at Edinburgh and Best British at London Short Series Festival, as well as a host of nominations across festivals up and down the country.
