The Vodafone Foundation’s seaweed story

The Newtons Laboratory’s sunny campaign raises awareness of the Posidonia project, a marine conservation drive supported by the comms giant.

Seaweed is often misunderstood. In Greece, many don’t know how much it contributes to the Mediterranean Sea. How much oxygen it produces daily, and about the thousands of species of fish and seafood that live within it.

This film created by The Newtons Laboratory, and directed by Argyris Papadimitropoulos through Filmiki Productions, promotes the Vodafone Foundation collaboration with the Oceanus Lab of the University of Patras, to map and protect the seaweed around Greece’s coastal waters.
