A hit director, two likeable stars, a smattering of punch-ups, some snazzy locations, Dubai Presents... Spy has all the makings of a cracking action romp. Shame the real movie doesn't exist...
Instead, the film and its accompanying Behind the Scenes are the product of Mother, MJZ and I, Tonya, Cruella director Craig Gillespie; creating the facsimile of a movie trailer to instead showcase the varied aspects of Dubai.
The film marks the first in a series of trailers - switching between genres - in a fun campaign that certainly doesn't skimp on the spectacle, whether that be the swooping cinematography or charming lead performances of Jessica Alba and Zac Efron.

“Capturing this all in five days was a logistical challenge," comments Gillespie, "similar to what it must feel like to be in an organised whirlwind. Thankfully, Dubai’s blessed with a litany of great locations to use as a backdrop, together with our leading actors; it made a shoot I’m unlikely to forget in a while.”
