The Creative Alliance, with the help of Mekanism, has just put together a thoughtful new COVID-19 vaccination campaign called Made to Save.
The creative work of Made to Save showcases all that vaccines can save including jobs, family gatherings, sports, events, traveling and lives.
According to Pew Research Center, about 39% of Americans are skeptical of getting the COVID-19 vaccine. The campaign acknowledges this and therefore was created to specifically target that percentage of our population with hesitations, especially within the BIPOC and Latinx/Hispanic communities, which have been disproportionately affected by the devastating virus.
Mekanism strategically developed the messaging of this campaign after analyzing consumer insights. Two consumer truths that aided in its development are that Americans want to go back to their normal lives but many are not confident in the safety and effectiveness of the vaccine. The Made to Save campaign aims to use the fact that people want to go back to their normal lives to motivate them to get vaccinated, while reassuring and clarifying that the vaccine has been developed with the utmost integrity, with no agenda other than to save lives.
