Telenor taps into the simulation

Highlighting the ways in which people connect, distract, and engage with the digital world, Telenor brings their phone screens, screams, and scenes to real-life. 

Make Every Day Better starts simple; a man on his phone on a bus.  Then, we go to a field, where a woman on a tractor begins her daily work...but as she tunes into her podcast, a pod of dolphin swim next to her, and in the distance, an active volcano. Slowly, with charm and very specific and restraint visual effect, the things that people do on their phones and devices—looking up cute videos, sending texts to a partner, reading aloud from an e-reader—show up in the real world.

With clever direction from Casper Balslev, they make sure never to give too much away before the digital world comes alive. Produced by New Land and aided by agency &Co, Make Every Day Better is a sweet fantasy ad that captures the necessary and exceptionally contemporary escapism of holding a cellphone.
