In Be More, for Milk, director Jesse Heath takes to the streets to find teens in order to strike an authentic note through the piece.

Creating a narrative of teenage resilience, power, and rebellion, Be More pieces together the lives of active teenagers in order to connect with one of milk’s biggest consumers. The youth in the film practice their cheer routine, work out their punching bag, throw down in rap battles, and skate in empty swimming pools.

It’s a world without adults and the tone of the piece speaks to freedom and independence, a small slice-of-teen-life. With clever, smooth cuts and slick production, the tone is exceptionally young, following kids without apologies or explanations. With little product placement, the film appears without an agenda, leaving a lasting impression of objectivity.
