Tea brand turns back to nature in latest campaign
For its latest campaign, launching today, Traditional Medicinals worked with BSSP Sausalito to put a focus on the connection between man and nature.
As a pioneer of ingredient purity and environmental activism for over 40 years, wellness brand Traditional Medicinals has always put a focus on the natural world – taking the time and care to source high quality herbs for its famous teas.
With the help of its lead agency, Sausalito-based Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners (BSSP), the It’s Amazing What a Plant Can Do campaign combines macro photography, providing a closer look at the real ingredients in Traditional Medicinals teas, and animated people to bring to life the enchanting world of plants. Tapping into the insight that consumers are seeking health benefits from the natural world now more than ever, the creative is rooted in showing all the amazing things plants can do for our bodies. The main spot will be accompanied by a series of shorter cuts.

Shot during a remote production with the production company, Scholar – with the agency and brand over Zoom - the campaign’s spots will be running across Hulu, YouTube and across social (Facebook and Instagram). Audio versions will be running on Spotify, Acast Podcasts, and on various podcasts including NYT’s The Daily. This campaign is the first integrated effort from Traditional Medicinals’ partnership with BSSP.
