Created for Vietnam’s Tết 2026, Sunlight reframes a familiar seasonal ritual through a contemporary, human lens.

Rooted in an insight that many Vietnamese associate Tết with the fatigue of end-of-year cleaning, the film sets out to transform that emotional resistance into something lighter, more reflective, and ultimately uplifting.

Director Jovardi approaches the project with a clear intention: to move beyond literal depictions of cleaning and instead explore it as an emotional and psychological process. In the film, tidying becomes a metaphor, an act of clearing not only physical space, but also mental weight accumulated throughout the year. As clutter is removed, moments, memories, and fragments of life are revealed, reframing “cleaning” as a search for meaning rather than a chore.

The narrative is carried by the reimagined use of Kho Báu (Treasure), performed by (S)TRONG Trọng Hiếu alongside Rhymastic. The song becomes both structure and subtext, guiding the film’s rhythm while reinforcing the idea that life’s true “treasures” often emerge through moments of reflection and renewal. Cleaning, in this context, evolves into a journey of rediscovery: sweeping away worries to uncover values, memories, and optimism for the year ahead.

Produced by Plan A Production, Sunlight balances brand storytelling with cultural sensitivity. Rather than positioning cleaning as obligation, the film reframes it as a meaningful reset, aligning with the spirit of Tết as a moment of closure, clarity, and new beginnings.

The result is a branded music video that resonates beyond function, offering a quietly inspirational take on how everyday acts can carry deeper emotional value.
