The visuals of Simplement t’aimer describe the complexity of the transition from youth to adulthood.

This transition is symbolised by two dancers, both women of different age and personality. On the other side, Yaïr is more a narrator who accompanies the protagonists.

From an aesthetic point of view, this visuals are intended to be quite minimal but with several different atmospheres which contrast the hardness and softness of the music. This is the reason why we can go from scenes with saturated red colours to a more melancholy black and white tone.

This music video directed by Steven Norel at Electric Light Studios is intended to be symbolic and enigmatic... Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words.
