Stept Studios announced the promotion of Meredith Rodriguez to President, expanding her leadership across the company’s creative and production ecosystem, including Stept’s Creative and Production Studio, Lockt, Stept’s Post House, and Vault Studios and Rentals.

In her new role, Rodriguez will oversee strategy and growth across Stept’s divisions, aligning the studio’s capabilities to better serve brands, agencies, and entertainment partners. The move reflects Stept’s evolution from a boutique production studio into a full-service company supporting projects across commercial campaigns, branded entertainment, feature films, and experiential events.

Rodriguez has been a central figure in Stept’s growth for more than seven years, helping guide the company from its early reputation for award-winning sports storytelling and commercial work into a scaled studio platform designed to support creative projects of any scope. She has overseen the expansion of the studio’s commercial and entertainment businesses while helping grow its integrated services across production, post-production, and infrastructure.

Rodriguez also executive produces documentary and feature projects at Stept, including most recent project He Bled Neon, premiering at SXSW, and leads strategy around financing, partnerships, and distribution for Stept’s entertainment work.

“Meredith has played an instrumental role in shaping Stept into the company it is today,” said Nick Martini, CEO and Co-Founder of Stept Studios. “She brings a rare combination of creative instinct and strategic leadership, and her ability to connect brands, filmmakers, and storytellers has helped expand our capabilities and partnerships across the industry. This promotion reflects both her impact and the direction we’re heading as a company.”

Prior to joining Stept, Rodriguez held senior leadership roles at global brands and technology companies, leading business and content teams at the intersection of brand marketing, media, and entertainment.

“Stept has been built from the ground up by filmmakers and entrepreneurs who understand how to attract great talent and build the infrastructure needed to support storytelling at any scale,” said Rodriguez. “I’m excited to step into this role and continue expanding what we can offer our partners creatively and operationally.”

Together, Martini and Rodriguez will guide the company’s strategy and growth while continuing to strengthen its integrated creative, production, and post-production capabilities.
