With both Standard Chartered and agency TBWA working remotely from Singapore, Through Different Eyestakes on layers of meaning.
Although some of the sustainability initiatives have been added in the post, the vistas and captured video shot from the backs of various animals make this ad attention-grabbing. From an eagle to a rabbit, the camera follows every part of the food chain as animals fly, hop, run, and glide across a world that has been influenced, but not destroyed, by humans.
“Our intention was to connect an audience with each animal's point of view—and while this idea is quite simple, achieving it was more complex. Parallel to the film's messaging, our production had to learn to rely on the symbiotic dance between nature and technology,” says director Jaron Albertin of SMUGGLER.
“After a year of almost no travel for everyone, the idea was to create something that offered escapism and a reminder of the wondrous natural beauty our planet has that we must protect," added Amy Richardson, Head of Production at Black Kite. "We were able to take city shots and augment them using different techniques injecting them with futurism. A variety of techniques over the whole film were explored to bring the futuristic world to life. Our colourists further integrated the various plates giving the piece a final filmic finish.”
