Spike Lee's Seen It All in his new spot for Nike
For the brand's 50th anniversary, the actor/director reprises his breakout She’s Gotta Have It role of Mars Blackmon to spit some sporting history at his younger counterpart, Zimmie, who gives as good as she gets.

Kobe Bryant, Tiger Woods, the Williams sisters, Michael Jordan; there's no end to the number of sporting stars Spike Lee eulogises in this cracking spot celebrating Nike's 50th anniversary.
As well as directing the spot, Lee stars as Mars Blackmon, his iconic role from 1986 movie She’s Gotta Have It, and plays against 'Zimmie', played by actor Indigo Hubbard-Salk, the star of the film's TV adaptation.
Both reflexive and future-facing, with plenty of political fury driving it (no surprise to Lee stans), Seen It All incorporates a medley of iconic Nike images, from sporting events to ad campaigns, including Blackmon's first foray with the brand, cut in the same choppy style [below].
