Sparks signs the directing duo Norman Bates for commercial representation in Canada.
Sparks announce their new association in Canada with Inti Calfat and Dirk Verheye, the Belgian directing duo known professionally as Norman Bates.
Together, Calfat and Verheye have honed their craft as visual storytellers, becoming known worldwide for their organic, genuine aesthetic. As Norman Bates they work fearlessly across all formats, and consider themselves equally at home directing commercials, music videos, television series and short films.
Based in Brussels, the duo has worked all over the world with global brands including Huawei, Coca-Cola, Mercedes, Mazda and Uniqlo to name a few.
One accomplishment, which they are very proud of, is the smashing success of their Netflix Original series Into the Night. As the first-ever Belgian original for the platform, the six-part miniseries became an international phenomenon, reaching #1 “Most Watched” on Netflix in Belgium, Germany, Poland, Thailand and top 10 in over 60 countries.
Now that Sparks represents Calfat and Verheye for commercial production in Canada, Sparks are excited to start telling some great stories à la "Norman Bates"!
