Tuesday 12th November saw Team SourceEcreative brave the icy winds of Toronto, Canada for the final leg of the 2013 'Presents' world tour. Finding a home in the wonderful Revue Cinema, a not-for-profit community screening house on Toronto's Roncesvalles Avenue, the evening saw the crème-de-la-crème of the region's advertising community gather together to check out the specially curated short-form content from signed and unsigned directors.

Marking the end of a year-long endeavour that has seen Amsterdam, Hamburg, London, Paris, Moscow and Shanghai play host to the 'Presents' selections, the Toronto showcase incorporated many films that have raised the roof in previous iterations alongside some fresh pieces of content specifically picked to entreat. Introduced by SourceEcreative's very own Jamie Madge, the collection  Amongst the films screened were the ever-popular 'Omelette' by Madeline Sharafian (a sure-fire hit wherever shown), Canadian director Nathan Boey's dance-deconstruction of the editing process 'Picture Locking' and the engrossing narrative short 'The Flying Man' from local director Marcus Alqueres, himself in attendance.

The crowd then made their way to Gate 403, a cheeky jazz venue across the road, for further networking and frivolity. "Jamie and Attilio were wonderful hosts to an inspiring and fun evening!" said Sarah Arruda, Producer at Helios Design Labs. "The projects were extremely well curated - only a few of which I had actually come across before. The event definitely sparked a sense of community and fostered a really positive environment amongst a diverse but like-minded crowd."

Torontonians wanting to see what they missed can check out the photos on our Facebook page (and read the glowing review from Glossy's own Shannon Stephaniuk), and members can view all of the films through this link.
