Last week saw the might of London's advertising scene descend on the magnificent Curzon Soho cinema for SourceEcreative's Christmas 'Presents'. Returning to the screening-night's home crowd (albeit in an upgraded venue), the evening was a magical mix of festive revelry, industry networking… and top quality filmic content.

Hosted by SourceEcreative's Worldwide Editor Jamie Madge, the selection threw the spotlight on some cracking new films from emerging directors, as well as a handful of favourites from the year's previous 'Presents' screenings. Cheered on by the crowd, the shorts and promos received a rapturous reception, with highlighted favourites being Rob Cantor & Scott Uhlfelder's earworming 'Shia LaBeouf – Live', Chris Capel's guffaw-inducing 'Living With Jigsaw', Eoin Kelly's glorious 'The Missing Scarf' and the indescribably majesty of 'Too Many Cooks' from director Chris "Casper" Kelly. The evening also welcomed featured directors Ish Sahotay and Oliver Briginshaw, whose films were met with joyous applause.

After the films, guests had the opportunity to grab a drink in the cinema's well-stocked bar and discuss their favourites. To see the whole shebang (and to get tagging), check out the images on our Facebook page. For members who want to check out the films shown in the evening, the link is here.

Our next Presents screening will be in Chicago in February, but if you want to keep topped-up with the very best in short-form fun from our previous screenings, check out our daily-updated Festivus Calendar!
