A seat belt for your dog might seem the height of frivolity, but in a car driving at speed, an untethered dog can turn into a dangerous missile.
With 98 per cent of dog owners admitting to not tying up their pet in the car, Skoda has launched a clever campaign to promote its latest accessory.
Created by Rosapark Paris, the spot introduces us to a massive mutt, Doug, whose enormous frame causes all sorts of problems - from terrifying the neighbourhood dogs to wrecking the couch and excavating the garden. 'A one-ton dog can be damaging,' the ad concludes, 'Now imagine it in a car, travelling at 50km/h.'
The spot was directed by Martin Jalfren via Birth.
